Dr Guy Morrow lecturers in music business, artist management, rhythm and music theory. He is also an artist manager who has worked with numerous artists including his current client Cuthbert & the Night Walkers. He started DCMS Records and MQ Productions at Macquarie University and has worked closely with many music business entities including Warner Music, ABC Music, Mushroom Music Publishing, the Harbour Agency, Rough Cut Music Publishing and MGM Distribution. His PhD concerned artist management practices and his current research analyses the dramatic changes that are impacting ‘content’ and media companies due to the development of new technologies. He has recently published articles concerning Radiohead’s post EMI career strategy and the operation of Australian music management and production companies Engine Room and Eleven Music. He is also a member of the US based Six Finger Think Tank through which he is involved in consulting work concerning the emergence of the new online music business as well as the further development of e-learning and m-learning in the education sector.

2000: Assisted the production of the Music of The Opening Ceremony for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games CD – Sony/BMG.

2001: Tide Lines: Music of the Whitsundays. This project was funded by Macquarie University in conjunction with Arts Queensland and the Shire of The Whitsundays.

2001: (continuing): Studio interviewee on the following Australian radio stations: 2SER ( Sydney), FBi (Sydney), 3PBS (Melbourne) and RRR (Sydney).

2004: 2008: DCMS Records student compilation CD’s released each year since 2004.

2005: Dion Jones & the Filth debut album Velvet Fever released on Filth Productions (distributed nationally by MGM).

2007: Cuthbert & the Night Walkers debut album on ABC Music/Warner Music.
