Sarah Keith is currently completing a doctorate examining new approaches to laptop performance of contemporary electronic music. This research project entails a both a written and a creative component. A particular focus of this research is the development of generative techniques for real-time music creation via computer. She also works with conventional multi-track software and has a musical background in piano and violin.
