Mus 205 studies the voice as an instrument and its role in solo and ensemble-specific situations within predominantly popular music styles. Students will learn technical and foundational aspects of the voice, applying this knowledge to their individual instrument. A highlight of the course will be the ensemble component, where students will sing with others within their tutorial groups, learning to hear, and create harmonies like true backing vocal professionals. The course also features an Australian Idol-style solo performance component.

Classes will be streamed allowing for a wide range of singing experiences, from novices to those more competent.
Mus 205 guarantees to be an enjoyable and educational course for learning about the voice.
