Take a journey through the vast and fantabulous world of musical theatre. From Michael Flatley to Marilyn Manson, from Greek choruses to Billy Elliot, from burlesque to Keating, from Mardi Gras to Gamelan.

Theatrical dance and music are investigated academically, in an attempt to create fresh perspective and deepened understanding of a genre often under-valued and regarded as frivolous. Here, frivolity is lauded as a valid artistic intention, one that often carries weightier meanings. Theatre that moves, theatre that sings, theatre designed for pleasure is theatre to be reckoned with.
